What is OUTKAST?

OUTKAST is a non-custodial trading platform powered by Hyperliquid, where users can trade crypto perpetual future contracts, spot crypto, and US equity perpetual future contracts.

What is my OUTKAST wallet?

When you sign up for the first time, a wallet is automatically created for you. This wallet is provisioned by Privy and is non-custodial. Your funds are not pooled with anybody else's and no one other than you has the ability to move funds or execute trades.

How do I link my KAST and OUTKAST accounts?

If you use the same Google, Apple, or email login credentials as KAST, your accounts will be automatically linked. Doing so gives you a few important benefits:

  1. Your KAST points balance is shared between KAST and OUTKAST. This means that any points you earn trading or referring on OUTKAST automatically get added to your KAST points balance, allowing you to maximize your points.
  2. If you are an X tier or Luxe tier card holder on KAST, you get up to a 2x or 3x boost on your points.
  3. More benefits will be added over time.

What currency is used for trading on OUTKAST?

USDC is the base trading currency on OUTKAST. You must deposit USDC or convert your assets to USDC via the “Spot” tab to start trading.

How can I do Perps or Spot trading on OUTKAST?

To trade perps, you need to hold USDC in your perps account. To trade spot, you need to hold USDC in your spot account. You can easily move USDC between your perps and spot accounts via the Perps / Spot transfer button. Any USDC you deposit is initially held in your perps account.

What’s the difference between Perps and Spot trading?

Spot trading gives you direct exposure to the asset you’re buying - think of it as buying Bitcoin, Solana, or any other asset. Perps (perpetual futures contracts) are instruments that allow you to bet if the price of an asset will go up (Long) and down (Short). Perps also allow you to increase your position size with leverage, increasing your potential returns, but also increasing your potential losses.

What are the fees on OUTKAST?

OUTKAST charges a fee that varies by order size.

  1. Spot
    1. 0 - $1000: 1%
    2. $1000 - $10k: 0.5%
    3. $10k+: 0.1%
  2. Perps
    1. 0 - $10k: 0.25%
    2. $10k - $100k: 0.1%
    3. $100k+: 0.025%
